1. Who we are

DigitGlance is a trading name of Digitglance Reliance, a CAC-registered business based in Lagos, Nigeria. We provide software products for invoicing, accounting, point of sale, school management, business automation, and related services. 2. Scope

This Policy applies when you:

• visit the DigitGlance website
• create an account
• use any DigitGlance product
• contact support
• make a payment
• submit data through any form, portal, dashboard, or application

3. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• name
• email address
• phone number
• business name
• job title
• billing address
• payment-related information such as your subscription plan and transaction references through Paystack (we do not store your card details)
• login details
• device and browser data
• IP address
• usage data and activity logs
• invoice, customer, supplier, product, and inventory records
• school records where you use School Manager
• employee or payroll records where you use those features
• support messages and any information you submit through the platform

4. How we use your information

We use personal data to:

• create and manage accounts
• provide our software and related services
• process payments
• send invoices, receipts, alerts, and service messages
• support customers
• improve the platform
• detect fraud, misuse, or security incidents
• meet legal and tax obligations
• communicate product updates and service notices

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising.

5. Legal basis for processing

In line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other applicable law, we process personal data where one or more of the following applies:

• we need the data to perform a contract
• we need the data to comply with a legal obligation
• we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights

6. Sharing of information

We may share data with:

• payment processors (Paystack)
• cloud hosting and database providers (Supabase, Vercel)
• email and messaging providers (Resend)
• analytics providers (Google Analytics)
• support tools
• accountants, auditors, lawyers, and regulators where required by law

We do not sell personal data. Each third party service has its own privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their policies for full details.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may store or process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect the data and use appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

8. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based database platform with row-level security enabled, which means each account can only access its own data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit, and your files and business logo are stored in Supabase Storage with access controls. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no internet-based system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your passwords and account access.

9. Payment processing

Payments for subscriptions are processed by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. DigitGlance does not store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. When you make a payment, you interact directly with Paystack's secure payment interface, and we retain only the transaction reference and your chosen plan for our records.

10. Email communications

We send transactional emails through Resend using our verified domain digitglance.com. These include invoice emails sent to your customers on your behalf, payment confirmations, account verification, and team invitations. You can opt out of non-transactional communications at any time by contacting support@digitglance.com. Transactional emails related to your account and invoices cannot be opted out of while you remain an active user.

11. Cookies and tracking

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand site usage, improve performance, and support analytics and marketing. For more information, read our Cookie Policy.

12. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law, accounting rules, dispute handling, or security review. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days unless we are required to retain it by law. Invoice and financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance purposes, after which they are permanently deleted.

13. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you
• correct inaccurate data
• request deletion of your account and associated data
• object to certain processing
• withdraw consent where consent was used
• request a copy of your data, including your invoice and customer data

14. Children

Our general business products are not designed for children and are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for these products. School Manager may process student data only where an authorised school or guardian provides the data for educational administration purposes. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information outside this context, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

15. Third party links and integrations

DigitGlance may link to or integrate with third party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for their data handling.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active users by email. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
